Disconnected: Escaping the Digital Trap

Sex, Sexuality, and Parenting

(adults only)

How do I talk to my kids about sex?

When should I have the talk with them?

How do I make sure they understand God’s design for sex?

"Sex, Sexuality, and Parenting" is specifically designed for parents to understand and help their children navigate the challenging topic of sex and sexuality. Beginning with a Biblical theology of sex and how to communicate that to their children, parents become equipped to help their kids understand sex from God's perspective. Specific topics covered in this seminar are: puberty, gender, homosexuality, pornography, and more. Parents are presented with practical, age appropriate strategies for talking with their children at each development stage, trusted resources for at home help, and the opportunity to ask specific questions to a professionally trained Christian counselor and pastor.

God, Guys, & Girls

(youth - young adult)

Our world today is full of messages about identity, gender, and sexuality that are not grounded in the Word of God. Teenagers and young adults need to hear what Scripture and science tell us about these things, especially as they are in a season where hormones are more present in their bodies than they will ever be again. This talk is designed to break the stigma that there are certain things we can't talk about in church, and is presented in a way that is engaging, Scriptural, and full of grace.

God, Guys & Girls covers such topics as why God created us male and female, the differences between attraction and lust, what to do if we've already sinned in these areas, and much more. This seminar can be presented in one sitting (1.25 hours), or broken up into a 4 week series (30 minutes each time), and comes with reflection questions for your leaders and parents to debrief with their students afterwards.

(all ages)
